Wilton Schools’ PTA Presidents Grateful to Turnover Shop for $48,000 Donation

To the Editor:

As part of its mission in supporting the Wilton PTAs and the Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, the Turnover Shop has made one of its largest ever donations with a $48,000 check to the PTAs of the Wilton Schools! The PTAs of each school are very grateful for the extensive support and impact the Turnover Shop donations have in our school community.

The Turnover Shop has been a long-standing supporter of the schools and these funds all go to support many student enrichment programs the PTA sponsors in each school. In addition to supporting the PTAs affiliated with each school, Wilton has a new PTA in our Wilton Schools, Wilton SEPTA. Wilton SEPTA (Special Education PTA) is a district-wide PTA created to bring partnership and support to the schools and community through providing various social and educational programs/resources.

Your donations of clothing, furniture, household goods, shoes and books to the Turnover Shop all benefit the Wilton PTAs and Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County. In addition, The Turnover Shop accepts consignments designated for other non-profit organizations such as Class Projects, WHS Band, Theater Department, sports teams and many other groups. It truly is a town gem that supports the local community. So please remember to go in to make a donation, stay to shop and help our community!

For anyone looking for a wonderful volunteer opportunity, please email the Turnover Shop for further information. The Turnover Shop is always open to new volunteers, with weekly to even once a month commitments available. Located in the lower level to the left of the Village Market, the Turnover Shop accepts donations when open, Monday thru Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m.-1 p.m..
