The Wilton Singers is currently conducting auditions for the 2014-2015 season.
The auditioned, mixed choral group is looking for new members for the choir of 35-40 voices. The group rehearses on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. at the Wilton Episcopal and Presbyterian Complex (WEPCO), 48 New Canaan Rd.. The concert season begins on Sept. 2 and ends mid-May.
Auditions will be held on the evening of Monday, Sept. 1, by appointment. All voices are welcomed. Singers are asked to be prepared to sing a brief portion of a song, a cappella. (Any style is fine.) Singers will be asked about their general music background and experience, assessed on vocal range and asked to do a few measures of sight singing.
