Barbara Klump Kokemueller, has worked at Wilton Sport Shop on and off for the last 20 years. For almost 10 of those years, Kokemueller also has been waging a fierce battle against breast cancer. Business owner Ken Cyr has let customers know that Kokemueller has been ailing recently and has asked anyone who has gotten to know her over the years to consider stopping by the store to sign cards for her with their wishes and thoughts.
“I’m sure there are some who would like to pass on their best wishes,” Cyr told GMW about Kokemueller, who lived in Wilton for many years and whose two sons went through the Wilton School district.
