The League of Women Voters of Connecticut (LWVCT) has announced that there will be a debate between Rep. Jim Himes (D) and candidate Harry Arora (R) for the 4th Congressional District on Sunday, Oct. 21.   The event, free and open to the public, will be held from 4-6:00 p.m., at the Clune Performing Arts Center at Wilton High School, (395 Danbury Rd./Rte. 7) in Wilton.

The debate will be moderated by Kay Maxwell, who has served as president of both the League of Women Voters of CT and of the League of Women Voters of the United States. She recently retired as executive director of the World Affairs Forum.

The debate will be sponsored by the Connecticut League of Women Voters, and co-sponsored by the Bridgeport LWV, the Darien LWV, the Greenwich LWV, the New Canaan LWV, the Norwalk LWV, the Redding LWV, the Ridgefield LWC, the Stamford LWV, the Weston LWV, and the Westport LWV.

It will be hosted by the Wilton LWV with support from the Wilton High School Model Congress.
