- Nature of Love Walk, 10 – 11 a.m., Weir Farm National Park: Local scholar, poet and volunteer Bonnie Tremante will discuss love letters written and sent between artist Julian Alden Weir and his fiancée, Anna Dwight Baker, during the summer of 1882. Meanwhile, walk through the National Park’s lush summer landscape. There is no fee to participate but registration is required and space is limited. - Ambler Farm Weekly Saturday Farm Stand, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., 257 Hurlbutt St.: This week the farm stand has arugula, beets, carrots, cucumbers, dill, fennel, baby leeks, lettuce mix, scallions, summer squash/zucchini, Swiss chard, salad turnips, and even some strawberry plants to take home and transplant into pots or gardens for years of fruit to come.
- Ancona’s Wines and Liquors Wine Tasting, 3 – 6 p.m., Ancona’s Wines and Liquors, 5 River Road: Ancona’s Wines and Liquors will be hosting a wine tasting to benefit Wilton Library. A portion of all monies earned from sales of the six featured summer wines will be donated to the library by Mitch Ancona, the owner of the Wilton and Ridgefield stores.
