To the Editor:
The Wilton Woman’s Club (WWC) held its 17th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser on Thursday, Apr. 23, bringing together guests, club members, sponsors and the broader community in support of a meaningful regional cause.
Proceeds from this year’s signature event will benefit the Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT), a planned 30-plus mile multi-use trail connecting Norwalk to Danbury. Designed for walking, biking, and outdoor recreation, the NRVT promotes conservation, wellness, and regional connectivity, with several completed sections already enjoyed daily by local residents.
“We are so grateful to the Wilton Woman’s Club for this generous support and for the opportunity to share our mission with the community,” NRVT Executive Director Andrea Gartner said. “The NRVT is more than a trail — it’s a common thread that brings together neighbors, families and communities to recreate and come together outdoors. This support from the Wilton Woman’s Club helps ensure that Wilton residents and future generations will continue to enjoy connections to nature and to one another.”
This annual spring event once again united the community for an afternoon of philanthropy, fashion and fellowship.
We are thankful for the guests who attended, as well as our sponsors, advertisers, and community businesses who donated items for our silent auction and wine pull. A special thanks to Alison Luciano, owner of The Plumed Serpent Bridal and Evening Wear, who provided the gorgeous styles modeled by WWC members at the event. A special thank you as well to Damselfly Flowers for the beautiful centerpieces, to Whip Salon and Studio D Hair Salon for the gorgeous hair and makeup, and to Justin Baiad for capturing the day through his photography.”
The WWC also recognized the valued sponsors of the 2026 Fashion Show Fundraiser. We are especially grateful to our Gold Sponsors: Waveny LifeCare Network – Visiting Nurse & Hospice, and Toni Boucher; our Silver Sponsor: Merit Financial Advisors; and our Bronze Sponsors: Kathleen Poirier Architects, LLC, Maria Wilcox, Golden Luxe Salon, Aroma Beauty & Wellness Spa, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, and Enthuse Marketing. And thank you to all our advertisers and silent auction donors. Your generosity makes this event possible.
Founded in 1966, the Wilton Woman’s Club remains committed to supporting local and regional causes through philanthropy, education, and community engagement, while strengthening the bonds among women in Wilton and surrounding communities.
