Wilton Woman’s Club Event Raises $40,600 for Circle of Care

Crediting the generosity of their event guests, club members, event sponsors and the wider community, the Wilton Woman’s Club (WWC) announced it raised $40,600 at this year’s 16th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser, held on April 10.

Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Circle of Care, which a press release noted was in honor of the organization’s 20 years of dedicated advocacy for children with cancer. Circle of Care’s website explains the organization’s purpose and mission: to provide practical, emotional and financial support to families facing a pediatric cancer diagnosis, serving children, adolescents, and young adults up to age 26. Its mission is to ensure that no family faces the challenges of pediatric cancer alone, offering comprehensive services that bring hope, dignity and compassion through every stage of the journey.

“We are so grateful to the Wilton Woman’s Club for this very generous donation and the opportunity to share our work and growth with the community. Since the luncheon, club members have participated in multiple volunteer activities that are at the heart of what we do. Wilton is our home and where Circle of Care was nurtured in its early days and will continue to be there for children with cancer and their families because of this kind of local support,” Circle of Care Co-Executive Director Liz Salguero said.

WWC’s President and Event Chair Maria Wilcox was thankful to those who she said made the event a success.

“We are grateful to the 198 guests who attended the event, sponsors, advertisers and community businesses who donated items for our silent auction and wine pull. A special thanks to Alison Luciano, owner of The Plumed Serpent Bridal and Evening Wear of Westport, who provided the stunning fashions modeled by WWC members at the event,” she said.

The WWC release acknowledged this year’s 2025 Fashion Show Fundraiser sponsors: Complexion Perfexion, Damselfly Flowers, Hair 4 Good, Merit Financial Advisors, Ring’s End, Syensqo, Waveny LifeCare Network—Visiting Nurse and Hospice, Aroma Beauty and Wellness Spa, Berkshire Hathaway HomeSevices and Giorgio’s Upholstery.

GOOD Morning Wilton was the event’s media sponsor.
