Community members curious about what’s really on the minds of Wilton teens are invited to learn more at a panel discussion and audience Q&A called “Together for Teens: Insights into Challenges Our Kids Face Today” on Tuesday, October 22 at 7 p.m. at the Riverbrook Regional YMCA. The event is co-sponsored by the Wilton Youth Council and Riverbrook Regional/Wilton YMCA.
This insightful event featuring a panel discussion and audience question-and-answer period will feature panelists, each with a unique perspective to offer: E.J. DiNunzio, Wilton High School varsity football coach and Youth to Youth faculty advisory; Dr. Rebecca LePage, Wilton pediatrician; Cassandra Lucien, Kids In Crisis/WHS outreach counselor; and Chandra Ring, Wilton Youth Council Executive Director and WHS JV field hockey coach.
The panelists will explore the challenges teens face, share what they wish parents understood, and provide strategies for better supporting youth. Registrants will have the opportunity to submit questions in advance so panelists can be sure they address parents’ most pressing concerns.
Following the panel, attendees can connect with local service providers at a resource fair, to find valuable tools and support for families.
Register in advance and submit questions to the panelists online.
