Youth United is the youth organization of Habitat for Humanity, the housing organization that builds simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with people in need. Members of Youth United’s Wilton chapter are breaking ground to build a new home at 84 Maple St. in Bridgeport this year. To help raise funds in support of the building costs for this project, Wilton Youth United will hold a car wash on Danbury Rd. near the Coffee Barn (392 Danbury Rd.) on May 16 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (with a rain date of Sunday, May 17). Cars will be washed for a $10 minimum donation.
