Wilton Y’s ‘Work Like a Mother’ Courses Starting

The kids are back in school full time, and that promise you made to yourself—figuring out how to get back to work, let alone if you want to get back to work or stay at home as a full-time mom—is all you think about. Or perhaps your youngest has just left for college, or will next year. Where does that leave you?

A popular program at the Wilton Family Y may help you start to really figure it out. Taught by Dr. Hilary Berger, the “Work Like a Mother” classes are beginning again this week at the Y.

On Wednesday, Oct. 2 9:15-10:45 a.m., the Y is hosting an open house coffee with Berger to introduce the program and courses. According to Y materials, the courses are for “stay at home moms who [are] professionally and personally unfulfilled and know life should be more productive and satisfying. Take a step forward to celebrate the promise of your own future goals, your personal fulfillment and your own professional viability. You can thrive and grow while at home with your children—come learn how.”

To attend the coffee, RSVP to Kim Murphy, kmurphy@wiltonymca.org. To register for classes, visit www.wiltonymca.org.

The Y has also published information on the courses Berger will teach, as outlined below:
