The very dry weather conditions will continue for the new week (Nov. 7- 13) ahead in Wilton. It will be a nice week despite the drought with sunshine and temperatures around average before a big cool down with possible snow arrives this weekend.

Monday, Nov. 7:   The week will be off to a fantastic start on Monday for all the Wilton kids off from school. It will be chilly in the morning near the freezing mark, but it will warm up nicely by the early afternoon with temperatures getting into the mid 50s under abundant sunshine.

Tuesday, Nov. 8:  On Tuesday, I’m calling it the nicest day of the week, featuring mostly sunny skies and very mild temperatures getting into the mid 60s! It is Election Day, and because the weather will be so nice, there is no excuse to not get out and vote.

Wednesday, Nov. 9:  As we get into Wednesday, it will cool back down to around average in the mid 50s. There will be a developing low pressure system off the Northeast coast, which will allow for periods of sun and clouds during the day in addition to a slight chance for a shower.

Thursday, Nov. 10:  Thursday will be a beautiful day with sunny skies and fall-like weather as that low off the coast moves even further away over the Atlantic. The day will be off to a chilly start, but temperatures will climb to the comfortable temperature range, so just have a light jacket on.

Friday, Nov. 11:  The week will come to an end on Friday, and it will still be dry. If we don’t get any rain through Friday, that will bring the stretch of no measurable rainfall to twelve days. On Friday, expect gorgeous conditions with sunny-to-partly cloudy skies, although it still will be windy.

Saturday, Nov. 12:  During the weekend, the first real blast of chilly air will move in, bringing high temperatures down to around 40 degrees. On Saturday, believe it or not, there’s actually a chance for snow! Expect sunny skies in the morning, then more clouds than sun in the afternoon with the chance for a snow shower or two, which should not accumulate. But this will be only a brief shot of cold air, so that’s good news for you warm weather lovers, moving into Sunday.

Sunday, Nov. 13:  Sunday will be the better half of the weekend, featuring slightly warmer temperatures and sunny skies. It may still be on the windy side, however, as a strengthening low pressure moves east.
