Do you know your Chianti from your Cabernet? Unsure what to order off the wine list at a restaurant? Wilton Library is holding the second of two wine tasting classes designed, in part, to prepare you for the library’s Annual Wine Tasting Event on Thursday, Nov. 7. Jeff Barbour, owner of New Canaan Wine Merchants and a Wilton Library trustee, will take participants on a mini wine tour of Napa Valley on Wednesday, Oct. 23 from 7-8:30 p.m.. Tickets are $25 per person and class size is limited to 40 people. A portion of the ticket will benefit the library, and attendees will receive $5 off the Annual Wine Tasting Event on Nov. 7! Learn all you need to know to get a grip on a good Gamay or a sip of a spectacular Sauvignon! Please register in person at the Circulation Desk or by calling 203-762-3950 ext. 213.
