The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch in effect from the evening of Saturday, Feb. 8 until Sunday, Feb. 9 at 11 a.m. EST.
Heavy snow is possible, with total snow accumulations between 4-7 inches possible, in portions of southern Connecticut, including Fairfield County, and southeastern New York.
Early forecasts indicate roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel could be very difficult.
