To the Editor:
On behalf of the Wilton Woman’s Club, we want to say thank you for supporting our 11th Annual Fashion Show Fundraiser, which this year benefitted the Domestic Violence Crisis Center and the Wilton Domestic Violence Task Force. This year we decided to join the national conversation and seize the moment to educate our children and our community about sexual assault and harassment in our society.
The event was a major success and we have so many people to thank. First, all of the women who attended and made it such a wonderful event! Second, our sponsors: Bankwell, Price Financial Group, The Bauer Family Foundation, and our media sponsor, GOOD Morning Wilton. Third, Lord & Taylor of Stamford, who provided all of the beautiful fashions. Fourth, all of our donors, and the wonderful Wilton businesses that donated items to our silent auction! A special thank you to Open House for giving every attendee a bracelet to represent the DVCC. To see all of the donors, please visit us online. And of course a special thanks to Peggy Garbus Photography for taking wonderful photos of the fashion show.
Last but not least, a huge thank you to all of the club members who worked so hard, from the silent auction to the models to the decorations, and to all the other committees involved. It took many talented and hard working women to put together such a successful event. Thank you!
