Woodcock Nature Center invites the community for a one-of-a-kind hiking and tasting experience at Frothy Forage on Saturday, May 3, between 12-6 p.m. Embark on a thrilling trek through the Woodcock trails, discovering secret spots where you’ll savor unique craft beers, brews, and sodas from a fantastic lineup of local partners.

An event for the entire family, Frothy Forage includes samplings of beverages such as Reeds, Schooners and Poppi soda products as well as plenty of Boxed Water throughout the day. Brew partners include Nod Hill Brewery, Sly Bandit, Reverie, Watson Farmhouse and Captain Zig. Furry family members are welcome to enjoy some sips and goodies along the trek too. Additional sponsors and partners include ASML, Fairfield County Bank, Outdoor Sports Center, Window Solutions Plus and Wilton Go Green.

Frothy Forage will delight the senses throughout the afternoon with everything from animal encounters, kid’s activities and prizes, to live music with local band Lazer Goose as well as Wilton guitarist/singer Matt Greene. The Cowabunga food truck will be firing up the grill for grass fed burgers and fries along with veggie options to purchase throughout the event.

All proceeds from Frothy Forage benefit environmental education programs at Woodcock Nature Center. The event draws over 400 guests throughout the day.

Admission for those 21-and-up is $57 and includes one souvenir tasting glass per ticket purchased, snacks and goodies from the sponsors and a one-of-a-kind trek through the woods and wetlands of Woodcock with beer, brew and soda sampling at six stations along the way. Food is available for purchase from the food truck throughout the day. Additional merchandise will be available for sale.

Spectators, designated drivers and kids 3 and up are $27 and are welcome to enjoy the non-alcoholic offerings and on-site activities. Leashed dogs are welcome. Timed tickets are required and available through advanced purchase only, on the Woodcock Nature Center website.

Thank you for reading this GOOD Morning Wilton article. I hope you find all our reporting helpful and an important part of keeping up on everything in Wilton. Since 2013, GMW has worked hard to bring you timely, independent news that's available to everyone at no cost. No other news source covers Wilton, and only Wilton, full-time. What makes this local public service possible is reader support. Paid memberships fund reporters who bring you next-day news and secure our resources for things like livestreams and getting news to you when it counts. But we can't do this without your support. For as little as $5 a month, a GOOD Morning Wilton membership can keep local, independent news going in Wilton. Please consider supporting us today. Thank you,

Heather Borden Herve, GMW Editor/Publisher
