What ‘woof’ you do if we told you the Norwalk River Valley Trail (NRVT) has gone to the dogs? This Saturday, May 5, the NRVT is holding its first annual Mutt Strut, a tail-wagging celebration and fundraiser for the trail. Mutts will Strut from 10 a.m.-2 p.m..

The Mutt Strut in Wilton will start at the commuter lot, on the corner of Wolfpit Road and Rt. 7. The event will raise funds for further construction of the NRVT.  Mutt Struts will also take place on sections of the NRVT in Norwalk and Ridgefield.

The entry fee is $30 per family, and advance registration can be completed online. Families are welcome to bring multiple dogs. The Mutt Strut will include dog selfie stations, dog goody bags, doggy bandanas, and the grand prize for the most creative dog costume is a free Mobile Spa Home Grooming from the Canine Company.
