When Adam Keller applied to work as a spin instructor at JoyRide, who knew that he’d also be finding his future husband.
But that’s what happened when Adam met Jared Marinelli, another spin instructor. They were first introduced when JoyRide Wilton/Ridgefield owner Amy Pal hired Adam and assigned Jared to train him.
They’re both energetic, charismatic instructors who teach several classes a week at JoyRide Wilton as well as at other JoyRide studios in Fairfield County. They’re both hugely popular with spin devotees as well as fellow JoyRide instructors, who pitched in when Adam decided to propose. They were all in to help with Adam’s secret plan.
On Sunday, Feb. 14—Valentine’s Day—Jared was scheduled to teach a class at the Ridgefield studio. Unbeknownst to Jared, with each bicycle in the room occupied by a JoyRide teacher, he was about to be swept off his feet. The instructors had prepared a flash-mob dance to help Adam propose, with a choreographed message that even the men’s families were part of.

Our friends at HooplaHa.com, a Wilton-owned website with a mission of spreading good news, were on hand to capture the whole proposal. They’ve let us share the video and help #TeamJADAM spread a little joy.
Congratulations, you two!
