Wilton’s own Winning Applications College Consulting is offering two 2-day sessions to help high school seniors prepare their long essay/personal statements and Common Applications. Students can choose to attend October 15-16, or December 17-18. Sessions will run from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Winning Applications’ Wilton office at 73 Old Ridgefield Rd., Suite 4. Fees are determined by the help each student needs.

Students at every point in the application process are welcome, from those who have completed their essays and/or applications and want them reviewed by former admissions officers, to those just starting the application process. The workshop will be given by Stephanie Klein Wassink, founder and CEO of Winning Applications and a former Northwestern University admissions officer. The course will help students who:

  • seek expert advice to confirm that they are on the right track, and how to redirect if they are not
  • have just started, or have not yet started, the process and want help brainstorming, writing, editing, and proofreading the long essay, and filling out the Common Application
  • have completed their application, and want a holistic review, including  feedback from former admissions officers before submitting their application.

The October dates are geared to students applying Early Action/Early Decision. The December dates are geared for Regular Decision applicants. Space is limited.
