Wilton’s town clerk issues information on land transfers weekly to local media. According to last week’s report (Sept. 29-Oct. 5), only four properties changed hands–and one was a commercial property sale. Young’s Nurseries, Inc. sold the well-known property at the corner of Danbury Rd. and Orem’s Ln. (211 Danbury Rd.) to Sunrise of Wilton Propco, LLC for $5 million. The transaction earned Wilton a $12,500 conveyance tax revenue boost. Sunrise will be building an assisted living facility on the property.

The other land transfers were, (including address, sale price and photo where available):

  • Gregory and Christina Sommer sold 12 Timber Top Tr. to Michael and Frank Bongiorno for $520,000.
  • Ellen Evans sold 93 Millstone Rd. to Paul and Sharon DePhillips for $405,000.
  • Colette Poirier sold 209 Dudley Rd. to Vimal Sharma and Preeti Gaur for $1,025,000.
