Wiltonian Al Galletly has crossed the country twice—on a bicycle. He co-founded the Wilton Singers. He was a senior executive at GT&E. He has played piano duets with jazz great Dave Brubeck. He has been lauded as Wilton’s troubadour by actor Charles Grodin. He is currently the director of music at Wilton Presbyterian Church.

Galletly is also a past president of the Wilton Kiwanis Club, where he’ll be bringing all his talents for the next luncheon meeting, Wednesday, Jan, 27. He will sing, play, talk and maybe ride his bicycle during the meeting.

His patter songs are a popular Kiwanis tradition and turnout is expected to be plentiful. Guests are asked to email the Kiwanis club to register.

Kiwanis has listed their future program speakers as well:

The traditional Kiwanis Valentine’s Day program will be Wednesday, Feb. 10, featuring flowers for the ladies and a presentation on the importance of Love in Your Life by Michael Crystal. The Wilton Encore Club, a social organization for ladies, will be with us for a joint meeting that day.
