Why are we barn red today? Why, to remind everyone that Sunday is Ambler Farm Day, of course! GOOD Morning Wilton is proud to be a sponsor of Ambler Farm‘s signature, annual event for the third year in a row. Joining us are Fairfield County Bank and the Montessori School as proud supporters of Wilton’s favorite fall event.
Gates open at noon on Sunday, Sept. 24 and events continue until 4 p.m.. As for what events there will be, the Friends of Ambler Farm and the dozens of volunteers who make the day possible will be ready to entertain the crowds with apple slingshots, visiting with farm animals, make-your-own-scarecrows, hay rides, the trebuchet (aka “punkin’ chucker”), children’s crafts, the pumpkin patch, live music, homemade apple pies and baked goods, a farm stand, Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps, the hay maze, and so much more.
Ambler Farm is located at 257 Hurlbutt St.. Entrance to Ambler Farm Day costs $20 per family. Limited parking is available on site, with additional parking available at the Cannondale Train Station (regular shuttle bus service between the station and the farm is provided).
See you at the farm!
