The Friends of Ambler Farm has appointed Robin Clune to the newly-created staff position of administrative coordinator. Clune joins Farmer Jonathan Kirschner, director of agriculture, and Kevin Meehan, program manager, as a member of the Farm’s professional staff.

The Farm has seen substantial growth in membership, programs, agricultural output, and events. This growth has increased the need for a coordinator to help the Farm run smoothly and serve the community effectively. Clune will be responsible for program and project support, rentals, merchandising and more as the role evolves.

“The caliber of applicants for this position was truly extraordinary. After a very thorough selection process, Robin emerged as our natural choice,” Neil Gluckin, president of the Friends of Ambler Farm, said. “Robin’s strategic vision, her past volunteer commitment to the Farm, and experience working in the community will be a tremendous asset to Ambler Farm.”

“I’ve been coming to Ambler Farm since before my children were born, and it has become a place that I’ve grown to treasure,” Clune said. “The Farm encompasses all of the best things about our town — education, community, healthy food production, and a respect for our history. I look forward to supporting the continued growth of this Wilton gem.”

Clune is an active Wilton volunteer, having held board positions with the Newcomers Club, the Children’s Day School (treasurer) and Wilton Youth Field Hockey. She has volunteered many hours at Ambler Farm, and has been deeply involved in her children’s schools. Her professional experience includes finance and marketing roles at IBM and an asset management firm. Clune holds an MBA from Columbia University Business School.
