Ambler Farm has opened registration for its popular “Adventures at the Farm” summer program.

This unique farm program provides an opportunity for children to experience farm life. Students will have opportunities to learn and work in the gardens. Spending time with Ambler Farm’s sheep and goats is a favorite activity as is checking to see if the chickens have laid eggs. Baby chicks, turkeys, geese (and, new this summer, baby geese), ducklings, rabbits and visiting animals, provide engaging opportunities for kids to interact and learn.

Each week includes grilling in the garden, woodworking, hayrides, planting, harvesting, hands on projects, animals, cooking and more! Students are divided by grade levels for age-appropriate grade-level activities, which change each week for variety.

The Preschool Summer Program is open to children ages 4-5 and starts the week of June 20, and runs for eight weeks. Families may register for as many (or as few) weeks as space allows.
