More than 60 Wilton boys had their heads shaved and went bald last night, March 15, as part of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation Fundraiser at Wilton High School. Their efforts resulted in more than $24,000 being raised for pediatric cancer research. Dan Pompa, who spearheaded this event as faculty advisor for seven years, was “knighted” for his service.
Wilton barbershops that graciously participated to shave the participants were Arena Hairstyling of Wilton, Branchville Hair Design and Agron’s Barbershop of Wilton. Refreshments were provided by Pinocchio Pizza and Village Market.
