This Sunday, Wilton’s spectacular, singular Ambler Farm gets to shine at the 14th annual Ambler Farm Day. With temperatures predicted to hit 80-degrees (80-degrees!) and sunshine in the forecast, it promises to be a signature, stellar day.
Ambler Farm Day will feature so many of the activities and attractions we’ve come to love over the years, as an event that really shows off autumn in Wilton. Kids of all ages will enjoy hay rides; apple slingshots; delicious, home baked goods and pies; a farm stand; a hay maze; a pumpkin patch; scarecrow making; children’s crafts; Wilton Historical Society spinning and weaving; a broom maker; the Pony Club; apple peeling; trebuchet (pumpkin chunking’); live music, with Wilton favorite “Bob’s Your Uncle“; a garden market; woodworking; food concessions; the Fire Truck; and so much more.
We’ve chosen this picture of one of Ambler Farm’s new signs around town advertising the day to show off the farm’s signature red motif that’s accompanied by the recognizable barn door logo. You may notice too that we’ve changed GOOD Morning Wilton in honor of Sunday’s fun day. GMW.com is proud to be a sponsor so make sure to look for us there.
Ambler Farm Day takes place this Sunday, Sept. 28, from noon-4 p.m.. Ambler Farm is located at 257 Hurlbutt St..
