Ambler Farm just took a star turn in an online video cooking show called “Edible Nutmeg On the Road.” The show stars Connecticut Chef Plum visiting small farms and food producers all over the state. The episode featuring Ambler Farm just debuted this week.

Plum visited Ambler Farm to learn about maple syrup production. During the visit he interviewed some of the farm’s familiar faces, including Ambler Farm’s executive director Robin Clune and program manager Kevin Meehan. And of course a cooking show wouldn’t be complete without a recipe and cooking demonstration, so Plum used Ambler’s famous maple syrup to make a maple-syrup infused sausage and pepper open-faced sandwich.
