To the Editor:

On Saturday, April 27, we celebrated spring with a delicious Farm Raiser Tasting Event at Ambler Farm. Flavorful hors d’oeuvres and libations provided by local eateries and beverage suppliers roused guests’ taste buds and inspired a wonderful evening at the Farm. Thanks to an impressive indoor porch facade constructed for the event by Ambler Farm’s apprentice builders and program director Kevin Meehan, guests stayed warm inside while enjoying a porch-like atmosphere.

We would like to thank the following restaurants and markets for their generous donations of time, talent and product:  Bianco Rosso, Craft 14 Kitchen + Bar, Little Pub, Redding Roadhouse, Stew Leonard’s, Sweet Pierre’s, Total Wine and 212 Brewing Co..

Thank you to all of the local businesses who donated gift certificates for guests to take home with every donation made toward the Raymond-Ambler House:  Ancona’s Wine, Annabel Green Flowers, Artistic Image Salon, “B” Chic Boutique, Bartaco, Blowdry Bar, Caraluzzi’s, Cooks Nook, Courtney Souza Photography, Cactus Rose, Dermage Spa, The Dilly Duck Shop, Dream Spa, EC Organized, Florencia’s Empanadas, Fred Astaire Studios, Four Seasons Racquet Club, Garelick & Herbs, The Granola Bar, Green Mint Nails, Happy Hands, Karate Universe, The Lunchbox, Nod Hill Brewery, Orem’s Diner, Outdoor Sports Center, The Painted Cookie, Pet Pantry Warehouse, Personal Training Professionals, Rizzuto’s Oyster Bar, Signature Style, Splash, Splatterbox, The Spotted Horse, Soulcycle, Soultribe Yoga, Tavern on Main, Total Wine & More, Trader Joe’s, Tusk and Cup, and Uncle Leo’s.

A special thank you to the evening’s photographer, Alexandra Underhill, who captured the delightful vibe of the event. From guests posing with our new tractor to enjoying a Saturday evening at the farm, her photos will be available to view on our website soon.

A huge thank you to Erin Woolard for donating her time and creative floral eye, ensuring the carriage barn reflected springtime both inside and out.

We would also like to thank our event media sponsor, GOOD Morning Wilton, for their thorough media coverage.

Last but not least, a special thanks to our special events coordinator, Laura Guzewicz, whose talent, dedication and creativity led to an enchanting evening.

A final thanks to everyone who attended the Spring Farm Raiser and made it such a festive evening. Proceeds will support the restoration of the historic Raymond-Ambler House.

Happy Spring and see you at the Farm!
