The Earth has a lot more friends in Wilton, judging by the large crowd that turned out for the annual town clean up this past Saturday, April 22. Officials estimate that there were more than 250 people who pitched in to pick up trash, debris, and cast off items littering Wilton.

Organized by the Wilton Conservation Commission and town Environmental Affairs staff, the Town Wide Clean-up saw participation from several groups and organizations:  Kiwanis Club of Wilton, the Democratic Town Committee, the Republican Town Committee, A Better Chance of Wilton, the Wilton High School Class of 2018, the Wilton Family YMCA, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, among others.

Volunteers collected enough to fill two dumpsters to overflowing.
