This Saturday, Dec. 13 at 10 a.m., Wilton’s Boy Scout Troop 125 will be holding its 6th annual ceremony at the Town’s War Memorial (at Center St. and Old Ridgefield Rd.).
They will present Large Balsam wreaths to Town Officials for placement on each of the stone pillars. In addition to the Troop, representatives from Wilton’s American Legion Post, first selectman (and former Boy Scout) Bill Brennan, State Rep. Gail Lavielle and State Sen. Toni Boucher will be making brief remarks. After taps is played the Scouts will be heading to Hillside Cemetery to place over 100 wreaths on the graves of fallen Wilton servicemen and women.
The Scouts are inviting members of the public to join them for the ceremony.
