BREAKING NEWS, Sept. 22, 11:44 a.m.–The Wilton Police Department just announced the arrest of a 15-year-old juvenile suspect in its recent investigation of a swastika carved onto a locker at Wilton High School.
The announcement read, “On Sept. 8, 2014 it was reported to Wilton Police that a swastika was discovered scratched into a locker at Wilton High School. The complaint was investigated by Student Resource Officer Rich Ross. Through his investigation a juvenile suspect was identified and a Juvenile Arrest Warrant was applied for the juvenile’s arrest. On Sept. 14, 2014 the arrest warrant was approved and signed at Norwalk Superior Court.
“On Sept. 22, 2014 the juvenile involved turned himself in on the juvenile arrest warrant. The juvenile who is 15 years of age was released to a parent and will appear in juvenile court. The warrant charges the juvenile with the below crimes:
- “Intimidation Based on Bigotry/Bias 53a-181L”
- “Breach of Peace 53a-181”
- “Criminal Mischief in 3rd degree 53a-117”
