Connecticut’s junior U.S. Senator, Chris Murphy, will be the Wilton League of Women Voters’ guest speaker at its Opening Meeting & Lunch on Thursday, Oct. 2 at the Rolling Hills Country Club (333 Hurlbutt St.) from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.. The program includes a brief business meeting and lunch, followed by Sen. Murphy’s presentation—Update from Washington DC.

Senator Murphy was elected to the Senate in 2012 and serves on the Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, the Foreign Relations Committee, and the Joint Economic Committee. Prior to his election to the U.S. Senate, Murphy served Connecticut’s Fifth Congressional District for three terms in the U.S. House of Representatives.
