What’s in your genes, and how does your family history affect your risk for breast and ovarian cancer?
That’s the subject of an upcoming panel discussion co-sponsored and organized by the Connecticut Chapter of FORCE and the Avery Center for Obstetrics & Gynecology, in conjunction with Norwalk Hospital, the Wilton Family YMCA and the Wilton Library.
Appearing on the panel are: breast surgeon Dr. Jeanne Capasse; plastic surgeon Dr. Boris Goldman; obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Adam Ofer; Rachel Giliotti, coordinator of the CT chapter of FORCE (Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered); and Marina Zinger Richeson, manager, network analytics, St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital.
The panel discussion will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. at the Wilton Library. It’s timed to take place in honor of National Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Week. Space is limited and anyone interested in attending needs to RSVP by calling the Wilton Library at 203.762.3950.
