Calling All Little Laxers…..Wilton Lacrosse Association invites all first grade students (boys & girls) of Wilton to join the fun on Saturday, Nov. 1 at the North Field (adjacent to Lilly Field, on the North side of Wilton High School) from 1–2 p.m. for the “First Grade/First Stick” program. All participants will receive a FREE Lacrosse Stick.
The first stick program is a great way to introduce children to the sport of lacrosse. Basic lacrosse skills and instruction will be provided by members of the current Wilton Varsity Lacrosse Teams. Boys’ varsity coach John Wiseman and girls’ varsity assistant coach Emily Mason will also be on hand. Among the activities, the children will learn to throw, catch, pick up ground balls and shoot on goal.
