Winning Applications College Consulting is offering a series of workshop sessions to help rising high school seniors prepare their college essays and Common Applications. Students can choose to attend one or more sessions taking place Sunday, July 9-Friday, July 14. Sessions will run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Trackside Teen Center (15 Station Rd.).

The course will be given by Stephanie Klein Wassink, founder and CEO of Winning Applications and a former Northwestern University admissions officer. Students participating in the workshops will receive insight into college admissions, and upon completion of the College Admissions Workshops, students will have completed major components of the college application process.

Days 1-3, July 9-11:  Learn about, brainstorm, outline and write the college essay. Class fee:  $1,850

Day 4, July 12:  Discuss, strategize and fill-out the Common Application.  Class fee:  $925

Day 5, July 13:  Discuss, review, add to and change your School List.  Class fee:  $725

Day 6, July 14:  Review and evaluation of college essay and/or completed application by former admissions officers. Class fee:  $525

For each workshop, students should come prepared with a laptop and power cord as well as any pre-work or homework assignments for the workshop. Spaces are limited to eight students per class.
