Dr. Aaron Krasner and Tracey Mastella, both of Silver Hill Hospital, will present a program entitled, “Coping with Intense Feelings: the Emotional Rollercoaster of Tweens and Teens,” March 9, at 7:30 p.m., at Temple B’nai Chaim in Georgetown.

Moody teenagers are hard to understand. Sometimes it seems everything is OK, but often parents worry about something more serious happening and want to know more about it. This talk is geared toward helping parents better understand the emotional lives of teens. Specifically it will help parents who have some worries about their teens assess whether or not their teens need help by providing insight about clinical depression and anxiety.

Krasner is Board Certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry and currently serves as the service leader of the Adolescent Transitional Living Program at Silver Hill. Masella currently serves as the social worker for the Adolescent Transitional Living Program at Silver Hill.

Temple B’nai Chaim is located 82 Portland Ave., in Wilton.

This program is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. For more information visit the event’s Facebook page.
