Overall, this is the 13-year-old’s fourth year in a row competing at the Nationals, taking the bronze her first year, followed by her three consecutive gold medals.
Emily has been taking martial arts classes for over ten years, and is working towards her third degree black belt at Ridgefield’s World Champion Taekwondo Dojo. Under the tutelage of Master Jeong, Emily continues to hone her skills and is already in preparation for next year’s qualifying rounds at the Nationals.
