The Kiwanis Club of Wilton will mount its last food drive before summer at both the Village Market and Stop & Shop for three days: Friday, June 9 through Sunday, June 11.

Look for the friendly faces of Kiwanis Club members outside both supermarkets and consider donating from the list of items they’ll have on hand to distribute.

Summer is often a slower donation period at the Wilton Food Pantry, and getting the shelves stocked with non-perishables is crucial for the clients who depend on the town residents’ generosity. Please consider giving generously. What is generally always in need:

  • supermarket gift cards
  • paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, kleenex, etc.)
  • laundry detergents & dish soap
  • personal care items:  toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoos, soaps, tampons, sanitary pads, deodorant, shaving cream and razors
