Get ready to shake, rattle and roll as the Wilton Playshop brings the electrifying and timeless musical, Grease, to life on stage. With book, music and lyrics written by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey, this magical production will transport audiences back to the 1950s.

Featuring hit songs such as “Greased Lightnin’,” “Summer Nights,” and “You’re the One That I Want,” this production of Grease is sure to have audiences dancing in their seats. With themes of friendship, love, and the pursuit of happiness, Grease continues to resonate with audiences of all ages, making it a must-see event for the whole family.

Grease promises to be a showstopper, featuring a talented cast of local performers who will bring the iconic characters to life on stage. From the rebellious Danny Zuko to the sweet and innocent Sandy Dumbrowski, audiences will be captivated by the journey of these unforgettable characters as they navigate the ups and downs of teenage life and love.

The cast features actors from several Fairfield County towns and beyond. From Norwalk is Will Atkin as Johnny Casino, Karina Brea as Sandy, and Lauren Garafano as Cha Cha. From Stamford is Julia Carey Johnson as Patty, Paul Johnson as Vince Fontaine, Tommy DeSalvo as Sonny, Jimmy Meisterich as Roger, and Kat Tracy as Rizzo. The show also features Aja Brodersen of Stormville, NY as Teen Angel, Joseph Capone of Ridgefield as Eugene, Bob Carroll of Easton as Kenickie, Nick Condon of Darien as Danny, Jasmine Cores of Redding as Marty, Marie Demasi of Wilton as Miss Lynch, Faith Fernandes of Stratford as Frenchy, Brian Jones of Danbury as Doody, Kelly Nayden of Cos Cob as Sonny, and Jackie Schultz of Fairfield as Jan.

The show is Directed by John Atkin, with music direction by Ken Knox and choreography by Christine Titus. It is being produced by Sarah Lee Michaels and stage-managed by Laura Ploss.

Grease opens Friday, April 26 and closes Saturday, May 11. Evening performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 p.m.; matinees are on Sundays at 2 p.m. Tickets are $35 for adults and $30 for seniors and students, and may be purchased online.

Since 1937, the mission of the Wilton Playshop (15 Lovers Ln.) has been to further the performing arts by providing quality live theater to the greater Wilton area.
