Wilton Little League is celebrating its 60th Anniversary today, April 9. Spectators are invited to come to the Little League fields this evening at the Wilton Y to join the league in marking the date.
There will be regular season league games going on and the concession stand will be open; the league will be serving free popcorn to spectators.
In addition, there will be a second community celebration later in May. First Selectman Bill Brennan has declared May 17 as “Wilton Little League Day,” complete with an official proclamation.
