Are you holding onto some art or jewelry of value that you’ve thought about selling one day? The Wilton Historical Society is offering an opportunity to find out just how much you might get for it–and if you can actually sell it at auction.
Next Wednesday, July 25 experts in fine art and fine jewelry from Skinner Auctioneers and Appraisers will be on hand to accept items for consignments for upcoming 2018 auctions in two categories: American and European Paintings, Sculpture, Works on Paper, Prints and Photographs; and Important Jewelry. From single works to entire collections, find out the auction market value for your art and jewelry.
The appraisers will meet with individuals from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. by appointment, which are required to be made in advance.
Jewelry expert Kaitlin Shinnick will be on hand to accept consignments for the fall jewelry auctions. She will provide auction evaluations for diamonds, colored stones, antique and period jewelry, and signed contemporary pieces.
American & European Works of Art Specialist Elizabeth Haff will be on hand to accept consignments of American and European Paintings, Sculpture, Works on Paper, Prints and Photographs for upcoming 2018 auctions.
