Wilton Go Green, Wilton Library and the Wilton Energy Commission are co-sponsoring a talk called “A Dummy’s Guide to Home Energy Upgrades–Part 1,” to be held Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 6:30-9 p.m. in the Library’s Brubeck Room. The talk aims to help homeowners discover how energy upgrades pay for themselves through lowered energy bills, tax incentives, rebates and low-cost financing.

The speaker is Marge Kelly, senior program administrator for CL&P/Yankee Gas. In addition, Wilton families will provide testimonies of their own personal ROI audits and energy efficient upgrades. Testimonial speakers include Richard Creeth and Peter Wrampe, members of the Wilton Energy Commission. Participants can meet certified Home Energy Solutions vendors from 6:30-7 p.m. and again from 8:30-9 p.m..

Part Two of this Home Energy Upgrade series takes place on Thursday, Nov. 21.
