What to do with that Cuisinart Bread maker you’ve never used, the Trek bikes your kids have outgrown or the framed oil painting that doesn’t work anywhere in your house? Don’t throw them out – recycle them and turn them into cash by consigning them at the Minks to Sinks Fall sale. This semi-annual sale starts Oct. 4–just a few weeks away–so now is a great time to go through closets, attics, and garages, and gather up items you don’t want or have don’t have a use for anymore.

For your convenience, Minks to Sinks offers in-home consignments for anyone wishing to consign 10 or more items (excluding clothing). To schedule an in-home consignment, please call 203.762.0520, between 9 a.m.-7 p.m., before September 15.

Minks to Sinks is the largest outdoor tag sale in Connecticut, and the best place to find gently used and new kitchen items, furniture, toys, gardening tools and almost anything else you might need for your home or family. While the sale is an institution in Wilton, people also come from all over Connecticut and neighboring states to shop this semi-annual event. Minks to Sinks raises funds to benefit Family & Children’s Agency, the Norwalk-based non-profit agency that provides much needed social services to individuals and families in need in the surrounding communities.

The Minks to Sinks sale will be located at its familiar site under the tents by the tennis courts at the intersection of School Rd. and Rte. 7.
