The Wilton Chamber of Commerce, the Connecticut Business and Industry Association and the Wilton Library are hosting a Legislative Forum Breakfast on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 8 a.m.. They’re inviting the public to join local business leaders and Wilton lawmakers for an informal discussion.
The breakfast forum will be held at the Wilton Library, at 137 Old Ridgefield Rd..
The elections have brought some change in CT politics. Find out how the elections have impacted the make-up of the General Assembly and learn what some lawmakers’ priorities are for the 2015 legislative session which started in January.
State Senator Toni Boucher and State Representatives Gail Lavielle and Tom O’Dea will be discussing this year’s legislative agenda. They will speak on the broad range of issues that impact all CT business owners and residents on a local, state and national level. With strong representation and leadership on major committees, these lawmakers who advocate for Connecticut business owners and residents will inform attendees on topics such as transportation, education, and public safety. Guests will also have the opportunity to speak directly with these representatives, and ask their own questions about the workings in Hartford.
The Legislative Forum Breakfast is open to the public and there is no cost to attend. Reservations are strongly suggested and can be made by visiting the Wilton Chamber of Commerce website.
