The community is invited to come out on Friday, Nov. 6 for a JoyRide Wilton cycle ride to benefit A Better Chance of Wilton (ABC). The ride is at 7:30 p.m..
Founded in 1996, ABC of Wilton has been transforming lives through educational opportunity. ABC Wilton provides deserving students with ‘a better chance’ by placing them in an environment that encourages academic excellence, improves their college acceptance chances, and lays the foundation for an improved future – for our scholars, our community and our country.

While the evening’s ride is definitely a spin raiser⎯100-percent of the evening’s proceeds benefits the ABC program⎯organizers are also calling it a community ride. What’s especially meaningful is that JoyRide is right across the street from the ABC girls’ scholars’ residence, and ABC of Wilton has always enjoyed incredible community support. Even more special, the ride will feature music selected by ABC scholar seniors, Adrianna and Lia.
The rockin’ ride will be led by instructor Jaime Falco and all riders will receive a Wilton Warrior A Better Chance/JoyRide T-Shirt along with complimentary water, wine or beer served in the JoyLounge post-ride, compliments of ‘R’ Wine and Marley’s.
“We are delighted to donate our studio to raise funds for ABC of Wilton,” says Amy Pal, owner of JoyRide Wilton. “Our goal is to provide an interactive and family-friendly format for fundraising and we’re honored that we can contribute to this important local organization and special evening.
The cost to ride is a $50 minimum donation per bike. To book a spot, visit the JoyRide of Wilton website and pay via cash or check directly to ABC on the evening of the event! Even better, donors can also buy a spot for one of the ABC scholars to ride and get a great workout.
Correction: The story has been updated to show that there is only one benefit ride. Initial materials indicated two rides.
