Independent Party endorses Kim Healy in 42nd District State Representative Race

The following is a press release submitted by Kim Healy’s campaign.

Kim Healy, the Republican candidate for the General Assembly, 42nd District encompassing all of Wilton and sections of New Canaan and Ridgefield, has been endorsed by the Independent Party of Connecticut. The endorsement underscores Healy’s commitment to representing the voice of all constituents regardless of their political affiliation. 

To gain the support of the Independent Party of Connecticut, in part, Healy answered an in-depth survey, sharing her vision and ideas on issues ranging across the environment, housing, education, ranked-choice voting, spending and taxes, infrastructure and more. Healy is also endorsed by the Republican Party

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of the Independent Party of Connecticut, a party committed to putting forth common-sense ideas and solutions to address the many issues facing our State,” Healy said. “I’ve always made decisions by putting people over politics and maintain that all elected officials should act and think independently. I believe that this position has earned me the trust of my constituents and colleagues across party affiliations.”

Kami Evans Secures Independent Party Cross Endorsement

Kami Evans, Republican candidate for State Senate in District 26, secured the Independent Party’s cross-endorsement, a considerable achievement that underscores her commitment to leadership that resonates across party lines. This endorsement reflects the shared values of the diverse communities within District 26, spanning Westport, Wilton, Redding, Ridgefield, Weston, New Canaan, Darien, and portions of Stamford.
