Kumon Math and Reading Center of Wilton is holding an Open House this Saturday, Feb. 25 from 9:30 a.m.-noon. The center’s director, Adina Dinca, is inviting the community to learn more about the Kumon Method of Learning. There will be activities, a raffle drawing, games, music, light snacks and refreshments.

Kumon is an after-school math and reading enrichment program that serves children in pre-school through high school (ages 3-18). Founded in Japan in 1958, the learning method uses an individualized approach that helps children develop a solid command of math and reading skills. Through daily practice and mastery of materials, students increase confidence, improve concentration and develop better study skills. Kumon has 26,000 centers in 49 countries and more than four million students studying worldwide. Visit Kumon.com to learn more.

Registration is held on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays, 3-6 p.m., and orientations and free student placement tests are available during those time periods (reservations are required, by calling 203.423.2396).

The Kumon Math and Reading Center of Wilton is located at 101 Old Ridgefield Rd..
