The following is a press release from the Wilton Chamber of Commerce.
The Town of Wilton, Wilton Library Association, and Wilton Chamber of Commerce have teamed up to host the first “State of the Town Talk” on Wednesday, May 29, at 5:30 p.m. in the Brubeck Room at the Wilton Library. The guest speakers will be First Selectman Toni Boucher and Wilton Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kevin Smith.
This forum, open to all community members, offers an opportunity to come together, share insights, and collaboratively address the outcome of the Town’s Annual Budget and Town Meeting (taking place on Tuesday, May 7, and the Adjourned Vote on Saturday, May 11).
A press release from the Wilton Chamber of Commerce called the talk “a platform to discuss the progress and future direction of ongoing projects that are shaping the fabric of our community.”
According to the release, organizers say, “The goal of this meeting is to provide an open dialogue, allowing community members to voice their ideas, concerns, and suggestions. This interactive approach allows for a diverse range of perspectives to be considered in the decision-making process and will harness the collective intelligence, creativity, and spirit of our community to foster an environment of growth and well-being for all its members.”
“We hope to see [residents] there, ready to engage, listen, and contribute to the dialogue that impacts our town. This is a unique opportunity to connect with neighbors, meet town officials, and play an active role in the decision-making process that affects us all,” Chamber Executive Director Camille Carriero said.
Space is limited and registration is required. To register, visit the Chamber of Commerce website.
