Families in Wilton and surrounding towns are invited to participate in Little Threads: A Kids Clothing Swap, hosted by St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. The event will take place Friday-Saturday, Sept. 12–13, with clothing drop-offs now open.
The swap is designed to be a no-cost, judgment-free space where parents and caregivers can share gently used children’s clothing, toys and gear, while also picking up what their families need. From that snowsuit worn only once to the stroller your child outgrew in a year, every item has the chance to find a new home.
Unclaimed items will be donated to Open Doors, ensuring that all contributions continue to support families in the wider community.
Participation is simple. Drop off items ahead of time or bring them on the day of the swap, then browse and take what is needed. Whether anyone is looking to declutter closets or stock up for the next growth spurt, Little Threads offers a practical and sustainable way to support one another.
For event details and reminders, visit the event page online to stay up to date.
Drop-off can be made at St. Matthew’s Church (36 New Canaan Rd.); shop and swap times are Friday, Sept. 12, from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday, Sept. 13, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
