Unfortunately, we’ve got more wet, dreary weather ahead for the new week (March 27-April 2), however, some days will still be nice, mild, and sunny. As we head into April, there’ll be showers, but at least they’ll bring May flowers!

Monday, March 27:  The week will be off to a wet start. Expect a light to moderate rain occurring during most of the morning, then ending around noon or the early afternoon hours. At least temperatures will be mild and above the average high of 50 degrees with a forecast high in the mid 50s. I also want to note that a GOOD-looking sunset is appearing likely just after 7 p.m..

Tuesday, March 28:  Tuesday won’t be all that bad of a day, but it will still be cloudy with a passing shower or two possible in the afternoon. What many of you will enjoy about Tuesday will be the warm temperatures. I’m forecasting temperatures to reach 65 degrees! You may want to break out the short-sleeve shirts.

Wednesday, March 29:  Finally some beautiful weather will begin to set up shop as high pressure dominates our weather pattern Wednesday into Thursday. Hands-down, Wednesday will be the nicest day of the week, featuring sunny skies and a high near 60 degrees–now that’s a perfect spring day!

Thursday, March 30:  More of that gorgeous weather will carry over into our Thursday, although it will be about 10 degrees cooler. Nonetheless, it will still be a great day with abundant sunshine.

Friday, March 31:  Enjoy Thursday’s sunshine because wet weather returns to the forecast for the end of the week. On Friday, there’ll be showers during most of the day, especially in the afternoon. It will also be a cool rain with temperatures only peaking into the upper 40s. We do need the rain, though, because rainfall for March is over an inch below average and the annual rainfall for the year-to-date is almost two inches below average, despite this winter’s above average snowfall.

Saturday, April 1:  Saturday’s forecast looks tricky because the models are showing a low developing off the coast associated with Friday’s storm. Depending on when and where that low forms, will determine whether we will have another rainy day on Saturday. As of now, I think there will be showers at least in the morning, but this may certainly change. That rain will also determine how warm it will be.

Sunday, April 2:  Sunday will be the nicest half of the weekend because it will likely be dry and the sunshine will be out. It seems like the past several weekends haven’t been that nice because they’ve either been sunny and very cold, or cloudy and seasonable. Saturday will be one of those cloudy, wet, average days, but Sunday will be totally different. It will be a combination of the two, if not better, featuring partly cloudy skies and highs in the mid 50s.
