Have you missed Marvin Gardens, the former unique home and garden boutique that closed two years ago this month? Owner Amabel Chan is returning with a Spring Pop-Up Shop and Warehouse Sale, showcasing her antique, vintage and modern items at Young’s Nursery‘s greenhouse, at 211 Danbury Rd..

Chan says they have “everything under the sun for the garden and home.” That includes garden urns, iron gates, arbors, perennials, fencing, garden ornaments, buddhas, patio tables, patio chairs, iron animals, fairies, furniture, large garden statuaries, birdhouses, columns, and industrial goods, as well as furniture in a variety of styles–asian, modern, country and industrial. Of course, there will be a huge assortment of Marvin Gardens’ classic oddities and treasures that will be available during the event, and Chan says new items arrive daily. (Some items are marked down for clearance, although there are others that are not.)

The pop-up shop will be open starting this Thursday, April 20, and will be open for business weekly, every Thursday through Sunday, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., running through May 31. Chan suggests following Marvin Gardens on Facebook and Instagram for advance notice of up-to-the-minute deliveries and new arrivals.

Having the pop-up shop at the current location also helps Young’s Nursery as well, as the owners continue their closing sale. All nursery stock is half off, including their CT-grown, large specimen trees and garden supplies (fertilizer, pesticides and miscellaneous garden accessories). Special orders and Young’s Legacy items are excluded from the 50%-off sale.

Editor’s note:  Marvin Gardens and Young’s Nursery are separate businesses, and their sales are completely separate.
